This is the reason the researchers at IUPUI decided to create something that refers to low-impact activity that helps in lowering the pain levels. The patient either sits, stand or lay down on the machine that has a vibrating platform when they are receiving vibration therapy. Muscles feel contract and relaxed by the vibration which provides them a refined workout. Increased improvements in pain, strength and muscle spasticity have been reported by people who used this therapy. More research is needed in this vibration therapy treatment. The plus point of this therapy is that the machines are widely available. These machines are also seen in fitness centers or even sold commercially.
